Get MailPolish into Outlook without guesswork.

Use the Microsoft 365 admin path for a team rollout. Use the individual path for testing or for a single mailbox when your organization allows custom add-ins.

Start your account

Open the account page, enter the email address you use in Outlook, and choose Trial, Pro, or Team.

Open MailPolish in Outlook

After install, open a message or start a reply. Look for MailPolish on the Message or Home ribbon. If it is not on the ribbon, open Apps, All Apps, or More Apps.

Individual install

Install for one mailbox

  1. Download the manifest.Use the button above and keep the XML file somewhere easy to find.
  2. Open Microsoft's Outlook add-ins page.Go to https://aka.ms/olksideload and sign in with the same mailbox you use in Outlook desktop.
  3. Choose My add-ins.Scroll to Custom Addins, choose Add a custom add-in, then choose Add from File.
  4. Select the XML file.Choose MailPolish-Outlook-Addin.xml, accept the prompts, then wait for Outlook to finish installing it.
  5. Restart Outlook desktop.Open a message or compose a reply. MailPolish appears on the ribbon or under Apps / All Apps / More Apps.
Important: Microsoft no longer shows Add from URL in the custom add-in dialog for Outlook. Download the XML first, then install from the file.

Microsoft 365 admin rollout

Deploy MailPolish for a group or company

  1. Sign in to Microsoft 365 admin center.Use an admin account, then open Settings and choose Integrated apps.
  2. Deploy a custom add-in.Choose Add-ins, Deploy Add-in, then choose the custom add-in option.
  3. Upload or link the manifest.Use the downloaded XML file, or provide this manifest URL when the admin center offers a URL field: https://mailpolish.ai/manifest.production.xml.
  4. Assign users.Start with Just me or a small pilot group, then expand to the full team after testing.
  5. Tell users where to find it.They may need to restart Outlook. Centrally deployed add-ins can take 24-72 hours to appear on the ribbon.

Troubleshooting

If the button is missing

Check the ribbon surface

Read mode uses the Home tab. Replies and drafts use the Message tab. In some Outlook versions, installed add-ins are under Apps, All Apps, or More Apps.

Check the reading pane

Classic Outlook can hide add-ins if the Reading Pane is off. Set View > Reading Pane to Right or Bottom.

Check company policy

If custom add-ins are blocked, ask your Microsoft 365 admin to deploy MailPolish from the admin center.

Give Outlook time

Manual sideloading may take time in classic Outlook because of caching. Central deployment can take 24-72 hours.
